Summary:
The house of Frederick K. Robbie in Chicago by architect Frank Lloyd Wright was built in the early twentieth century. and is still an object of imitation for many architects and a subject of desire for generations of investors. And in our case, it all started with a single photo, without any hesitation and doubt from the customer.
Of course, modern technologies, the client's own family needs and the features of the design area made some adjustments in the composition of the building, but the concept of space formation, architecture and decoration elements of the house all had to resemble Wright's work.
The fireplace as the central compositional axis and the open space of the common rooms became the basis for the construction of the total volume of the country house. Large canopies of terraces, large-scale glazing for maximum combination with the environment.
When decorating the house, special attention was paid to the selection of materials, clinker bricks and fragments of natural wood were to complete the idea of the authors of the project.
A difficult task in the development of planning decisions of the house was to fit the building into the existing landscape, among the perennial trees and other restrictions of the site to create a functional and comfortable planning for the customer's family.
